Korean defender Lee joins Borussia Dortmund


South Korea defender Lee Young-Pyo left to join Tottenham German club Borussia Dortmund on Wednesday.

Lee has played 93 times for the Premier League side after his move from PSV Eindhoven in August 2005, but fell out of favour at White Hart Lane after the arrival of the Spanish manager Juande Ramos last season.

The 31-year-old, capped 97 times by South Korea, accepted a one-year contract with Dortmund, who needed a new left-after Dede has been banned for six months with knee ligament damage.
