Kinnear reveals Newcastle 'D-Day'
Newcastle United Manager Joe Kinnear said the future of the club will be allowed after their trip to play Chelsea, Nov. 22.

Owner Mike Ashley Magpie put on sale in September, but despite the reported interest, there has been no firm bids for the St James' Park Side.

Kinnear said: "I know that after the Chelsea match, it is the D-Day. After that, it will all be revealed.

"Either the club will be sold or they changed their minds."

Until his side travel to Stamford Bridge, Kinnear's own future remains in the air.

It was at St James' Park on a rolling monthly contract since Sept. 26 but has a new owner could signal the end of his reign.

And the former Wimbledon and Nottingham Forest boss admits he has no idea who the buyers are from Newcastle, or whether the club will eventually be sold.

"I always said I honor what I do," said Kinnear.

"In the short term, I will do my best, but it could be sold under my feet. We had Russians and South Africans, but nobody has stepped up. But your proposal is as good as mine.

Kinnear wants to end the uncertainty Newcastle
"Myself, Mike Ashley, (Executive Director, football) and Dennis Wise (CEO) Derek Llambias all sit down and talk."

Kinnear, however, also wants to know if I'll have money to spend in the January transfer window if the current regime can keep control of the club.

The 61-year-old: "I asked if there is a" game plan "if the club is not sold. Obviously, if I stay I would finance. "

And he feels the future of the club must be resolved as soon as possible.

"We need well-the-air talks," said Kinnear. "It would be a good thing for us all. Myself, players, fans and all associated with the club."

FA BARCLAYCARD PREMIERSHIP - Round Nine: Who’s hot and who’s not ??

Another weekend of Premiership football. Liverpool take their own first place, Hull City and Aston Villa reinforce their European credentials Tottenham and even win a game. Look that is hot and who's not:

Hot team
Charges of candidates for the prize this week. Liverpool's excellent victory at Chelsea to end their long Unbeaten Liverpool home run and move clear at the top of the table takes a lot of moves. The other winners are Aston Villa for their 4-0 victory at Wigan, Hull City for yet another victory out of their cementing and third place and Sunderland for their first home derby victory for a generation.

Arsenal, Manchester City and Tottenham, even at long last, might also think they deserve a mention. Nevertheless, the award must go to Liverpool who have pledged themselves quite like a genuine threat to Chelsea and Manchester United (and Hull!) In the Premier League title race.

No hot team
Obviously, all the 'hot' teams beat the other teams above which, by definition, are candidates for the "No hot team award. However, somewhat controversial, I will now give Manchester United this week. They are a great side and I like watching them. On Saturday, for the first forty-five minutes gave Everton a total Footballing lesson. They were simply outstanding. Despite this, they have only taken a lead in l'1-0 at half time and failed to kill the hosts.

In the second half against Everton-attacked and won an unlikely point. If United will have a chance to retain their title, the last Arsenal last season, they could begin to transform football in their major objectives and victories.

Hot guard
After a horrible error in his last home game, West Ham Robert Green made two or three world class saves against Arsenal yesterday. He began to look unbeatable and a ridiculous own goal was the only way past him. We can forgive a slight stroke of blood to the head when he ran out of his goal, and attaches to the end of the second goal. His performance was excellent and well deserving of this award.

No hot goaltender
There really are not any poor goalkeeping performance this week. The only guard who comes to mind is to give Scott Carson from West Brom. Partly because I leave in three and partly because I have not quite forgiven him for leaving that goal against Croatia in yet!

Hot defend
This hurts me. I really, really not like William Gallas. I do not think it is a great captain and I have often been critical of him before. The picture of him leaving a club in the early hours with a cigarette hanging from his mouth last week put under a little pressure.

Against West Ham, it was close and steadfast in defense at Arsenal is looking much more solid. Credit where it is due!

Not to defend hot
Wigan Titus Bramble has long had a reputation as a fine, but the defense is too much tendency to make costly mistakes. The reason is that his reputation increasingly long history and make costly mistakes! For 99% of games he is very, very good defense. Then, in a moment of madness, he often throws it all away.

He gave the penalty against Villa on Sunday Needless to address and Villa won 4-0.

Hot Midfielder
Marouane Fellaini had a difficult start to Everton. The club was in a little turmoil, the manager is not certain to remain and the results were bad on the ground.

The twenty years, Belgium international cost charges of about 4 million pounds rising to £ 15million, and fans are not too sure of what they had for their money.

His second half headed goal to earn a point against Manchester United on Saturday was a way to justify its purchase.

No hot Midfielder
This award is given to Bolton for Gavin McCann. You are at 1-0 against a side with no confidence, and without a win all season with a new manager. Your team is up and it seems that this is a matter of time before the equalizer eat. What you do not need at this time is one of your men midfielder who have already been booked to fly into ridiculous late tackle and to get himself sent. With ten men, the losing team to go 2-0. I'm sure Gary Megson said his piece to his midfield man!

Hot Striker
Another difficult to attribute this week. Marlon King scored one and one from Hull, Adebayor completely change The Game for Arsenal when he came on the bench and, of course, Bagger Robinho winner.

I'm giving this week as the Aston Villa Gabriel Agbonlahor has scored one goal and made two in their 4-0 victory. I beat Fabio Capello on the door with his teammate Ashley Young.

Striker not hot
If he did nothing particularly bad, I certainly have nothing particularly good. Nicolas Anelka is not good enough to lead the Chelsea attack if they have a double winner ambitions.

Liverpool defended very well at Stamford Bridge, but their work is much easier than marking Anelka, it would have been if Didier Drogba was on the ground.

Who else would have appeared this week?

Adams holds talks over Pompey job
Assistant manager Tony Adams is in talks with success in Portsmouth Harry Redknapp, BBC Sport understands.

Portsmouth were left managerless after Redknapp's shock move to Tottenham Juande Ramos following the dismissal.

Pompey chief executive officer Peter Storrie said Sunday the club will take its time to find a manager after Redknapp left the club late on Saturday.

But BBC Radio Solent believes Adams, who was at Fratton Park since 2006, is a serious contest.

Former Wycombe Wanderers boss Adams and first team coach Joe Jordan took charge of the team for Sunday in the 1-1 draw against Fulham.

Ex-Arsenal defend Adams, Jordan, the former Newcastle boss Sam Allardyce and former Chelsea manager Avram Grant are among the contenders to take the job full time, but Storrie has refused to provide any clues.

Redknapp has already put in a good word for Adams and Jordan.

"I talked about Peter and he said:" You have Joe and Tony, and they are both great guys, "said Redknapp.

"Joe is very experienced, Tony is in place and future in the management game and works very hard. I do not think any of them would do no harm, of course."

Redknapp has rejected an approach from Newcastle in January to replace Allardyce.

And Storrie said he wanted something similar happened when Tottenham came calling.

"Nothing gave me more pleasure if Harry had rang me on Saturday night and said:" Look Peter, I thought more and I want to stay, as he did with Newcastle.

"But on this occasion, the lure of Tottenham was too much."

Storrie insists there was no financial problems at the club and that decisions continue to be driven by owner Alexandre Gaydamak.

"During the summer, we sold Sulley Muntari for a club-record fee and sold Pedro Mendes, but most used the money to put in Peter Crouch and Younes Kabul and a couple of players ready," he said.

"If we were to sell players, we re-invest and bring other players. We have a very, very good team here, a quality side and in January we just approach it then.

"Sacha Gaydamak is the owner of this club for two and a half years and continued to finance the club to develop players.

"This will be his decision in January if he wants to continue this growth and expansion."

Meanwhile, Jordan has expressed his surprise at the speed of Redknapp departure, while wishing him the best.

"It was a bit of a shock, I must confess, but Harry is a good manager and you expect that good managers will be willed by the big clubs," said Jordan.

"The speed of it surprised many people and it was a shock to me."

Jordan added: "I think it is important that they get the right man.

"They had to take a deep breath and take stock of events in the last 24 hours and then take things from there."

Portsmouth Crouch joined Liverpool in the summer but the England striker said he does not feel left behind by the departure of Redknapp.

"It was a big reason why I came to the club, but I will go and I wish him all the best," said Crouch, who scored against Fulham.

"It was a shock and I would have liked him to stay at Portsmouth.

"But Tottenham is a huge club, I did my YTS if I know how great club it is and if I can have them where they should be that would be fantastic.

"These things happen in football so I am never surprised. We will continue and continue, regardless of our good season. "
