Real Madrid will not keep Robinho against his will

Borja Valero signs with West Bromwich Albion
English Premiership side West Bromwich Albion have secured the services of Mallorca midfielder Borja Valero. This was confirmed by the Spanish club on Friday.
Borja Valero Iglesias, born in 1985, he staged his way through the Real Madrid youth system and spent a year on its reserve team before joining Mallorca last season.
Valero soon formed an essential part on its side, through which he drew the attention of other European clubs.
WBA and the player have reached an agreement for four seasons, for which Majorca should receive 4.7 million pounds.

Owen back for Newcastle
Newcastle Striker Michael Owen is set to make his first appearance of the season against Bolton on Saturday after recovering from a calf injury.
Owen, 28, missed Newcastle's pre-season preparation and their Premier League Opens in Manchester United because of a calf problem and combat mumps.
But the England star boss Kevin Keegan said he is ready to return to action after training well this week and will be on the bench at St James' Park.
"The mere fact of Michael in training with us for the last few days everybody lends a helping hand," said Keegan.
"It's the first time that the new signatures (Fabricio) Coloccini, (Danny) or Guthrie (Jonas) Gutierrez have really seen what it's like playing with Michael. It gives everyone a boost.
"He (Owen) has trained with us for the last two days and I'll put it on the bench, so that a large step forward.
"He is fit, he is listing his goals, and Michael is not a boy who takes a lot to get in better shape.

Arsenal manager Arsène Wenger has admitted he is interested in signing midfielder Aston Villa Gareth Barry.
Wenger wants to land was a central midfielder following the pre-season departures of Mathieu Flamini and Gilberto Silva.
Liverpool were unable to seal an agreement for Barry, who is desperate to leave Villa Park, and although Wenger is concerned by England stars on the sales value, it could be fixed in step with offer.
"There's always interest," said Wenger. "I can not tell you much more. He is a player that we follow.
"Barry I find a good player. The problems with players who are 27, 28, is that you pay a lot of money but you get nothing back, not for resale."
Wenger has already signed Mikael Silvestre of Manchester United this week and he revealed it took a final intervention by beating Manchester City defender for the french its signature.
"It was in advanced talks with Manchester City already," Wenger told the Daily Express.

Scholes rejects talk of England return
Manchester United veteran midfielder Paul Scholes maintains that it will not make a return to England, four years after turning his back on the international game.
After England at Wembley disjointed 2-2 draw with the Czech Republic there have been calls in some quarters for 33 years to consider a return to the fold, but Scholes said there is no chance of that, after refusing a means of doing so when Steve McClaren was in charge.
"When he was appointed Steve McClaren rang me and asked me to come back. It came down to training and asked if I fancied," Scholes told the Manchester Evening News.
"It means a lot for me, but I do not think I was never that close that I would have said yes."
Asked if he would even refuse a request if it were to materialize, McClaren's successor Fabio Capello, Scholes, insists: "Yes. He was not on reflection, it was too much or I was not capable - it is just that when I played I did not enjoy it a little. "
Since hanging up his shirt Three Lions after the final of Euro 2004 Scholes has shrugged off a serious eye complaint to lift consecutive Premier League titles - he won eight in all - and scored the goal against Barcelona which took in U.S. Last season Champions League final.
He insisted he still has a lot of hunger at the club.
"I'm 34 in November and we hope to be still playing when I'm 35.
"Anything after this will be a bonus. As long as I still feel I am contributing to United, I will continue."

Chelsea in talks with Real over Robinho: report (August 2008)
Chelsea CEO Peter Kenyon was in Spain to negotiate with Real Madrid on the transfer of Brazil striker Robinho, Spanish media reported Friday.
Kenyon arrived in Madrid on Thursday to table a final offer to save 37 million euros, up seven million euros over their initial proposal, according to sports daily Marca. Madrid have a reported 40 million price on the player head.
Kenyon's visit follows a statement by the agent of Robinho that Madrid had closed the door to Robinho to move to the Premier League. "The dream of
Chelsea is upset because Real Madrid will not even negotiate. It is impossible to advance any conversation," Wagner Ribeiro told the Daily Star this week.

Manchester City are closing in the £ 6m signing of Vincent Kompany from Hamburg.
The versatile 22-year-old Belgian international is regarded as the answer to the Blues' midfield defensive headache but can also play in central defence.
It is planned to complete negotiations today and could even be in the team to play West Ham at the weekend.

Hughes is happy to give the reader a certain margin of manoeuvre and agreed that adaptation is difficult for scorers, but the manager will hope for an instant return.
"Jo could take a little time to get up to speed," said the director.
"At present, it will return on Saturday morning and training with us on Monday.
"Sometimes it is difficult for strikers to foreign countries to come here and settle quickly, but others come here and be an instant success. Jo certainly has the ability to adjust very quickly and it will give us a presence from the outset that we lacked in the last couple of games.
"It is a great guy and in the air, it is exceptionally gifted. It will give us a lot, once it is available."
Jo will join a strike force which has been boosted by a return to training of Rolando Bianchi, but it will have to wait for November to join two others in the team as Benjani and Darius Vassell begin their recovery from serious injuries.
"It will be Touch and Go between Benjani and Darius, who will return first," revealed the director.
"We are probably looking back at the same time, but we are talking probably three months."
Benjani, however, is more optimistic and said: "It's So Far So Good. Over the next two weeks, I hope to start running. If you are injured, it takes a few weeks to regain your fitness. I do not want to suffer the same injury again. "
The manager is optimistic about another soldier injured in Valeri Bojinov who underwent surgery on Achilles he injured at the Villa at the weekend.
"The operation went well, it is a good prognosis," said the director.

Sir Alex Ferguson's thanks to Silvestre Sir Alex Ferguson has thanked Mikael Silvestre for its nine years of service to Manchester United after the defender completed a move to Arsenal.
Speaking after Silvestre had completed the formalities of his move Ferguson said: "Mikael has been a great servant and a wonderful professional. We wish him the best in his new club and thank him for his service.
" Silvestre - who has 40 caps for France - had fallen to the hierarchy in the United Nemanja Vidic and Rio Ferdinand became Sir Alex Ferguson the first choice partnership at the heart of the defence.
Wes Brown, John O'Shea and can also provide cover in the centre and have recently agreed new deals at the club while Patrice Evra made the left-back spot his own.
And with his contract set to expire in 2009, Ferguson has allowed Silvestre - who is the first player to leave Arsenal for United since Brian Kidd 34 years ago - to join one of their main Barclays Premier League rivals.
Now Silvestre looks forward to a new and unexpected phase of his career.
"I spent a large part of my career at United, the last nine years, and I remember that time fondly but feel I am ready for a new challenge," said French, which was submitted the number 18 shirt.
"Arsenal are known to play and the technical competence of football, and a young but experienced team.

" What is surprising, but the fact is Wenger gave Silvestre, who has a recent history of injury problems, a two-year contract. Ferguson signed by Silvestre Inter Milan in 1999 after he began his career with Rennes, who left for San Siro in 1998. Silvestre enjoyed considerable success with the Red Devils and won four Premier League titles, an FA Cup winner of the medal and a League Cup winner of the medal in his 361 appearances with the club. But his last season at United has been hampered by a knee injury sustained against Everton in September 2007, which limited to just six appearances competitive. Wenger underlined Silvestre's experience and versatility of two main factors behind his decision to sign the player for an undisclosed fee, estimated at around £ 750000. The 31-year-old, who missed much of last season with knee ligament damage, has agreed a two-year deal to the Emirates Stadium.
With his contract set to expire next season, Silvestre has been linked with a move to Bordeaux and Manchester City during the summer, but he opted to move to north London. Although the Gunners have no doubt the quality throughout their young team, they are short on experience - something Silvestre can offer.
Wenger said: "We have a strong team, but a young team and Mikael versatility, experience and quality will provide additional depth, we must strengthen our challenge for honours this season.
"His ability to adapt defensively we serve and it is a big plus that Mikael a high level of experience and a great understanding of football in the Premier League."
