Hot team
A few competitors for the award this week with Portsmouth get their season on the earth with an excellent 3-0 win at Everton, Wigan spanking of the new boys Hull City 5-0 to give them a reality and Manchester City, which we will hear much more over the next few hours and days, have a super 3-0 victory at Sunderland with new / old boy Shaun Wright-Phillips bagging a brace.
However, because I'm humble and can admit when I May have perhaps been wrong, I am giving this award to Arsenal this week. Just after I 'slagg the off, they produced a superb performance sublime football to destroy a very decent side Newcastle.
No hot team
Well, all teams that were on the receiving end of the "hot teams above shall be with a cry to return it but I'll go with a team that has made a point. They are really a very good point and they are top of the table.
I am in Liverpool, which played a negative way to Aston Villa they made me doze off watching TV. As long as they play with absolutely no width and approach games like Villa away with the mindset to collect a 0-0 draw, they will not seriously challenge Chelsea or Manchester United.
Hot Keeper
He was one of the best guards last season and was very unfortunate not to be out of the England team Fabio Capello. Rob Green at West Ham this season has started well, made a great penalty save on Saturday in an unflattering 4-1 win over Blackburn and was recalled to the England set-up.
Green deserves the award it looks like he could be getting plenty of practice in the months to come!
No holder hot
There was not any terrible goalkeeping errors this week if it is difficult to pass. I'll give the prize to Blackburn side Paul Robinson. I do so on the basis that, unlike Fabio Capello, apparently, I think it is simply a holder not hot. "
Hot defend
Although Liverpool did not attack very well in the game at Aston Villa home side skipper Martin Laursen was flawless. He was flawless on the back and always provided a serious threat to Liverpool parts September. It was excellent last season and hopes to be at its best now.
Not Hot defend
Danny Collins, Sunderland has a bit of a nightmare against rampant Manchester City, but I'll give this award to Christopher Samba Blackburn. He did not play well and scored a goal against his camp in the 4-1 defeat at West Ham.
However, I am also aware that Samba is an absolute giant of a man and if he ever think I gave him the award I ask that someone else used my address and wrote the article pretending to be me!
Hot midfielder
This must go back prodigal son, Shaun Wright-Phillips. Two goals in his second Manchester City debut must have been beyond even his wildest dreams.
He was a great player before the City and I think it can be again.
Not Hot midfielder
Amdy Faye from Stoke City is an essential element of the new tactic promoted club play outside games in the Premier League. As the player defensive midfielder, he played the key role of protecting a back four that will sometimes inevitably be beaten. That you even have sent ridiculous for a challenge on the edge of your own region, after only thirty-six minutes when the score is 0-0, you have no alternative but to be named " numpty "of the week.
Hot striker
Robin van Persie was a big miss for Arsenal last season when he was injured for long periods. He is back and he is looking good. If he can establish a partnership with decent Adebayor they will take a large portion of the judgement.
Two goals for the flying Dutchman on Saturday.

Nicolas Anelka is really not very good for Chelsea and Robbie Keane was quite poor for Liverpool. However, on the basis that Keane was played as a defensive player left of midfield, which is not its main asset, I'll give this Anelka.
In fact, the French can not be far from a Lifetime Achievement Award in this category!
