Juande Ramos has remained optimistic about the prospects for Tottenham for the rest of the season after a 2-1 defeat by Aston Villa Spurs in the bottom left of the table.
"I'm still angry at the end of games like this with the players and myself," said Ramos manager after seeing his side slip a home loss.
"It's barely begun and there is still room for us. I will not make an assessment after a match.
"We hope that calm and with experience we'll get a positive result."
Spurs set to limp display in front of their home fans, a series of research and throughout dispirited, but Ramos said that the upheaval the club has faced in recent weeks was partly to blame.
Strikers Robbie Keane and Dimitar Berbatov left Liverpool and Manchester United respectively, while defender Vedran Corluka and Roman Pavlyuchenko before - which both their debut against Villa - were bought on transfer deadline day earlier this month.
"We had very little time to prepare - Corluka, Pavlyuchenko Frazier and Campbell are new to the club and have not really had time," said Ramos, who has suffered more than the league defeats victories since taking over Martin Jol the licensee in October 2007.
Ramos has overseen 19 wins from 46 matches, while Jol team won 67 games from a total of 148.
And Ramos admitted: "We are behind in our preparations. We must keep the spirit going and climb the highest of the table as possible.
"We made an irregularity beginning of the season, having lost three matches, making it an uphill struggle for us."
Spurs now face Wisla Krakow in UEFA Cup on Thursday before they take on Wigan in the Premier League on Sunday with both games at White Hart Lane.
