Sidwell back in training at Villa
Aston Villa midfielder Steve Sidwell is back to full training after being ruled out because of injuries.
"Throughout his career he has managed to stay injury free so far. But it is now available for full training again and wants to play its full role. "
Sidwell said: "To get these setbacks was a hard blow for me, having decided to move to Villa, but fortunately there is now a light at the end of the tunnel.
"You want to make an impression when you move clubs and it will be good if I can make up for lost time.
"The club is really a buzz at the moment, we are in the first four of the Premier League, and hopefully will qualify for the group stages of the UEFA Cup is a exciting place to be. "
The 25 years old, who signed from Chelsea during the summer, has not played since picking up a calf injury against Odense in the Intertoto Cup on July 26.
He made a return for Villa reserves in their 2-1 victory over Stoke but picked up a knee injury.
Sidwell should not be included in the Villa Uefa Cup first round second leg tie against Litex Lovech Thursday.
Sidwell about his return, Villa boss Martin O'Neill said: "It has obviously been a frustrating time for Steve, who wished to make an impression with his new club.
