Real keen to make new Ronaldo bid
Real Madrid coach Bernd Schuster has revealed that the giants of the Spanish hope to have signed Manchester United Cristiano Ronaldo by next summer.
Ronaldo, 23, has been heavily linked with a move to Real earlier this year but the English side have finally admitted defeat in their attempt to sign the winger.
But Schuster is determined to adopt a new approach at the end of the season.
"We must do everything possible, as it would be interesting to have this player," Schuster told Spanish newspaper Marca.
"I think this year it will be a little complicated for his club clinging to him."
United remains committed to keeping the Portuguese player at the club at least until his current contract expires in 2012 and will take a huge offer real serious test of their will.
