Dawson denies FA conduct charge
Tottenham center-half Michael Dawson has denied a Football Association charge of improper conduct.

Dawson, 24, received a three match ban after being sent during the 2-1 defeat to Stoke on Sunday for a dangerous tackle on Mamady Sidibe.

He was charged over his reaction to the dismissal, but requested a personal hearing to be held before a regulatory commission, October 30.

If convicted Dawson could have added up to two games to suspension.

After signing a one-year contract extension in July to stay at White Hart Lane until 2013, the England international has played only four Fa Barclaycard Premiership games this season.

Dawson injury time dismissal at the Britannia Stadium capped a frustrating afternoon for under-pressure side Juande Ramos, who also sent Gareth Bale early in the match.

The defeat has increased unrest in Tottenham, who sit bottom of the table with just two points from their first eight games.

Ramos, who signed Luka Modric, David Bentley, Heurelho Gomes, Roman Pavlyuchenko and Vedran Corluka during the summer, I grant you is concerned by the club for the execution of poor results.

Tottenham now face a difficult Uefa Cup group game against Udinese in Italy on Thursday before hosting Bolton in Premier League on Sunday.
