Real Madrid drop Ronaldo interest
Real Madrid president Ramon Calderon claims that his club in the interest of Manchester United Cristiano Ronaldo is complete.

"You can never be sure what will happen in the future, but Real Madrid want a good relationship with Manchester.

"We do not want to interfere in any way on any possible that their signatures are not prepared to accept.

"We know it is not easy to sign players to big clubs in the middle of the season.

"I do not think we are going to sign any unless we have serious injuries."

The 23-year winger, who is under contract at Old Trafford until 2012, has been strongly linked with a move to Spain earlier this year.

"Manchester (United) do not want to lose him - is that the situation," Calderon told Radio Five Live's Sportsweek program.

"They are very clear about this now, it is a situation we have to forget."

The Portuguese international net 41 goals last season for United and Real coach Bernd Schuster has publicly stated his desire to have him at the Bernebeu next summer.

But Calderon admits that now seems to be an impossibility for the Liga holders.

"Manchester will not sell during the three or four months, but we do not have problems with them as they are one of the biggest clubs in the world," he added.
