Marney agrees new Hull contract
Hull City midfielder Dean Marney has agreed a new three-year contract extension to the Premier League club.
The 24 years of this operation was to expire at the end of this season, but a new contract to keep the KC Stadium until July 2012.
"It's nice to put things in order. There was never any doubt that I wanted to stay," he told the website of Hull.
"We're Fa Barclaycard Premiership club and I would be crazy to think about leaving. I am settled here now. "
Marney has made 77 starts for City since joining Tottenham Hotspur in the summer of 2006.
Marney made a place in the Tigers starting line-up since the club were promoted to the top flight.
The Barking-born player has made an appearance for England U21s against the Netherlands in February 2005.
Hull, who are currently sixth in the table, host Manchester City on Saturday.
