Benayoun threatens to leave Reds
Liverpool, Yossi Benayoun midfielder threatened to quit in frustration after manager Rafa Benitez of the aid policy as a substitute.
The 28 years old, who joined West Ham from £ 5m in 2007, made only four starts in 11 appearances this season.
Benayoun told Israel's Channel Five television: "If the situation remains the same in the coming months, I do not want to continue as a Liverpool player.
"I hope that this change that I want to stay myself and prove, but it will not be easy."
Benayoun made his name at Israeli side Maccabi Haifa and Spanish equipment Racing Santander before moving to West Ham in 2005.
He changed at Anfield in 2007 and reluctant to leave this summer despite interest from Italian side Roma and Dutch giants Ajax.
The Israeli international has made 41 appearances for Liverpool, but he feared that his playing time will be limited following the team's good start to the season.
The Reds are top of the Premier League with Chelsea, having lost only once, collecting 32 points out of 39.
"The fact that I spent so much time on the bench when he was a winning formula on the ground tells you everything," said Benayoun.
"I know I'm one of the biggest clubs in the world, and there are many good players like Ryan Babel and Jermaine Pennant who sometimes are not even in the team, but not fun sitting on the bench all the time.
"I always wanted to prove myself good enough for Liverpool, and I thought I did well last season to help many goals and assists.
"But it seems there is more competition for places this time, and if I continue to be the key, I do not want to stay, even if Liverpool.
"Maybe I will accept and begin to learn another language, like Italian or French or even Russian."
