Eduardo makes return from injury
Arsenal striker Eduardo returned to competition in a reserve match against Portsmouth on Tuesday.
The Croatian, 25, played the first half of the reserves against Portsmouth at Barnet's Underhill ground.
"I am very pleased to have started my first match in 10 months," he said afterwards.
"I hope I can do more and that the next time will be better. I felt something right in my Hamstring in two weeks, but I'm going straight. "
There were fears for Eduardo's career when he suffered a fractured left fibula and dislocated his left ankle Feb. 23.
He was injured when tackled by Birmingham's Martin Taylor at the 2.2 draw at St Andrews.
Eduardo, who underwent surgery the same day, missed the rest of the season and the European Championship, but it was the subject of an intensive rehabilitation that included spells in his native Brazil.
Arsenal boss Wenger said last week: "He is joining in full training matches, but must now play."
