Moyes 'agrees £17m Everton deal'
Everton boss David Moyes has agreed a new five-year contract with the Merseyside club worth more than £ 17m, BBC Sport understands.
The 45-year Moya, who joined Everton as manager in 2002, in July confirmed he has opened talks on a new agreement with President Bill Kenwright.
The Scot is expected to sign the agreement before the derby against Liverpool at Goodison Park on September 27.
Moya, who has 12 months on its current operation, also succeeded Preston.
The Scots, who twice guided Everton to the UEFA Cup and Champions League qualification stages, has been linked to the vacant manager's job at Newcastle.
Earlier this week, he was accused of misconduct by the Football Association after being sent to the stands during Sunday's 3-2 victory against Stoke.
