Ballack sidelined by new setback
Midfielder Michael Ballack to Chelsea man was released three weeks after surgery on both feet to remove THICKENER nerve tissue.


Ballack, 32, after suffering the pain of Germany 1-0 against Wales in World Cup qualifying on Wednesday.

The German Football Federation said: "A scan confirmed Thursday the presence of neuroma.

"After consultations with his club doctor, coach and manager, it was decided to have surgery immediately."

Chelsea coach Luiz Felipe Scolari said: "Ballack is perhaps two or three weeks. I am not angry - I'm happy because what happened is a test for me that I am a good coach. "

Ballack was sidelined earlier in the season because of a foot stained he suffered the first day of the new campaign against Portsmouth.

He had been a doubt for The Game against Wales in Mönchengladbach with what has been said a calf injury - but now it is out again after a double battle surgery. by bbcnews.
