Wigan to keep defender Figueroa
Wigan boss Steve Bruce said he will sign the loan defend Maynor Figueroa on a permanent deal next month.
Honduras left-back has been at the club on loan from Deportivo Olimpia his native country since January and has started every Premier League match this season.
"I've done enough here, and there is an agreement in force between the two clubs," said Bruce Wigan Evening Post.
"With the kind of money we are talking about - £ 1.5m - is a no-brainer not to make permanent."
Figueroa, 25, has been capped 45 times by his country and score two goals.
"(The agreement) should be increased in January when the transfer window opens and we will be happy to get this done," said Bruce.
