Elstone confident Moyes will stay
Everton chief executive Robert Elston manager David Moyes is convinced will commit his long term future for the club in the near future.
Scot Moyes, 45, is in the final year of his current contract at Everton and has repeatedly stated his desire to remain at Goodison Park.
"There are no outstanding issues, it is Döttingen the i and crossing the t's," said Elston BBC Radio Merseyside.
"Both sides are at the root of his contract, it is fair to take a little time."
Everton had an unconvincing start to the season, they have yet to win a home game and have been Pregnancy both the Carling Cup and Uefa Cup.
Former Preston boss Moyes was recorded saying the uncertainty surrounding its future in May had a negative effect on his players early season form.
Elston was confident the issue will be resolved shortly and explained the delay Moyes pen on paper.
"The reason it has taken time because neither party saw no problem. It will, I am sure, will be announced very soon," said Elston.In Fa Barclaycard Premiership.
